A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of coordinating Toby and Meenu's wedding weekend. While vacationing in Clearwater earlier in the year, Toby and Meenu stumbled upon Tampa and decided that it would be a great location for their Fall wedding, since they did not want the cold of New York or Chicago.
On Friday, Meenu's Mylangi ceremony was held at the Westin.
On Saturday, Toby and Meenu had a traditional Syriac Orthodox ceremony that was held at the St. Nicholas Greek Church in Tarpon Springs. Meenu wore a traditional wedding gown and the bridal party wore midnight blue and purple saris. For Meenu's entrance, "Just the way you are" (by Bruno Mars), was sung by one of their cousins and is a song that they both connected on when they met. At the end of the ceremony, Toby surprised Meenu with a send-off meant for the stars! A Lamborghini for the weekend! How fun!!!
After taking pictures at Craig Park in Tarpon Springs, everyone headed back to the Westin Harbour Island in Tampa for the reception. The room looked amazing!!! The centerpieces were actually one of Toby's favorite looks and Meenu's and with the talents of MMD Events, everything came together quite nicely.
A great time was had by all and I was sad that the night had to come to an end. I am truly going to miss them!
